(CMG) has been retained by the Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia to provide website, registration, abstract, speaker, and presentation management for the 2019 International Symposium on Adapted Physical Activity (ISAPA 2019). CMG is committed to protecting the privacy of all users of the ISAPA 2019 website. This policy was developed in the interest of protecting that privacy. CMG adheres to all U.S. federal laws and the EU GDPR. The ISAPA 2019 website collects data only to better serve registrants and other users of our website. This policy applies only to the ISAPA 2019 website, It does not apply to the websites operated by organizations or groups who associate themselves with ISAPA, nor does it apply to any websites featuring links to the ISAPA 2019 website. Our privacy policy does not apply to the practices of organizations or persons not owned, controlled, managed or employed by CMG. Collection of general data and information

When you browse the ISAPA 2019 website without an account, you are anonymous. Account creation is voluntary and application for membership is voluntary. CMG does not collect personal information about any person that is not provided voluntarily.

CMG captures individual information, including contact information and demographics for the purpose of doing business with ISAPA 2019, including: event registration, event attendance, abstract submission, and other services. To gain access to restricted areas and personalized features, register for an event, or submit an abstract through the ISAPA 2019 website, users must create an account and provide individual information. If the user provides information as part of registering or submitting an abstract, that information will be used to manage and communicate about the user's participation. The information submitted may be used for other marketing uses by the International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity (IFAPA), such as email and mail notifications of upcoming events that match the interests provided by the user. The user's information is submitted voluntarily.

Registration for ISAPA 2019 includes IFAPA membership for the current symposium period. If the user registers for the symposium, information submitted online will be used to manage and communicate about the user's membership.

Do not provide personal information about others unless you are authorized or required to do so by applicable law or contract. Before supplying personal information about others, you and the person about whom you supply the information must review and consent to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of the Website. By submitting any personal information about others, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so, that you have made the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy available to the person about whom you supply the information, and that you have obtained that person's written consent to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you register for training or a conference, or request any other product or service, CMG collects information from you such as your name, title, company, address, phone, fax, e-mail address and professional discipline/interest. This information is collected only if you give it voluntarily. Information provided through the ISAPA 2019 registration process will be used internally to process your specific request and will not be sold or shared with outside parties. Your information may be used to send you IFAPA publications, information relating to upcoming ISAPA 2019 activities or important IFAPA membership announcements. This information can only be accessed with a legitimate username and password; for this reason, we strongly urge you limit unauthorized access to your ISAPA 2019 username and password. Credit Card Information

You may choose to provide CMG with credit card information to pay for membership dues, training or conference registration fees, or any other product or service. We will never voluntarily disclose your credit card information to any third-party organization or person who is not employed or contracted by CMG to process your payment. CMG does not capture credit card account information online from purchases. Credit card payments are processed directly through a certified processor (i.e., PayPal).


CMG has taken measures to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information on this website. We have the technology in place to provide secure transmission of data to and from our website.
